Built-in indicators that mark swing structure, breaks of structure (BOS), changes of character (CHoCH), equal highs and lows, fair value gaps and liquidity sweeps directly on your candles. Every one of them is available on the Free plan.
Smart Money Concepts reads a chart through structure, imbalance and liquidity. ChartingLens ships those reads as native indicators, with no script to paste: Market Structure Pro, Fair Value Gap (FVG) Pro and Liquidity Sweep Pro, plus four level tools that pair with them. Click Indicators in the top toolbar (icon only on a phone).
Open the Price Action tab (Market Structure Pro, FVG Pro, Liquidity Sweep Pro and the S/R and Fibonacci zone tools), or use the Search box: type "Market Structure", "FVG" or "Liquidity".
A settings dialog opens first. Keep the defaults or change them, then click Add Indicator.
The legend row at the top-left has the eye (hide), gear (settings) and trash (remove). Star a tool in the list to keep it in Favorites.
A swing counts once it has Swing Length bars (7 by default) on each side, so each label lands on the swing candle a few bars after the turn.
Other settings: BOS/CHoCH Line Style (Solid, Dashed or Dotted), Label Cooldown (10 bars by default), label sizes and a show/hide toggle for each element. Break of Structure vs Change of Character explains the two break types.
A bullish gap forms when a candle's low sits above the high of the candle two bars earlier; a bearish gap is the mirror image. Only gaps taller than Min FVG Size (0.5 × ATR by default) are kept.
FVG Pro uses the same gap detector as the Fair Value Gaps course in Learn, so the lessons and the indicator agree. The fair value gaps trading guide covers how to trade them.
Liquidity Sweep Pro flags the candle a sweep leaves behind: a wick of at least Min Wick Size (1.25 × ATR), a close at least Min Rejection (0.5 × ATR) back from the wick's extreme, and a wick more than 1.5 times the opposite one.
The wick is measured against ATR, not against a specific prior high or low, so read sweeps next to Market Structure Pro's swing labels and EQH/EQL lines to see which liquidity was taken. More in the liquidity sweeps guide.
The Indicators menu has no dedicated Order Blocks indicator. Market Structure Pro marks the breaks of structure that order blocks are defined around (see the order blocks trading guide), and when you ask the AI Chat to analyze a symbol, its read includes recent unmitigated bullish and bearish order blocks and unfilled fair value gaps, so you can ask whether a stop sits at one.
Quick Actions, above the chat input, has an Indicators tab with Smart Money prompts such as "Show Market Structure on the chart" and "Show me Fair Value Gaps on the chart". On Free those rows carry a Premium badge; the indicators stay free in the Indicators menu.
This preset uses gaps left by an impulse candle whose body exceeds 1.5 times the 20-bar average range. After a candle closes inside the gap it enters at the next open, with the stop beyond the far edge (plus 10% of the gap's height) and a 2:1 target, long or short. Type "Backtest SMC Fair Value Gap retest strategy" in the AI Chat to run it for 1 AI credit on any plan. See the AI Strategy Backtester.
On Premium and Pro, set the alert Condition to Strategy and pick SMC Fair Value Gap Retest, from 1 Minute to Weekly. Our servers check it every 5 minutes, so it fires with ChartingLens closed. The BOS, CHoCH, FVG and sweep markers have no alerts of their own. Limits are on the price alerts page.

Both fire when a candle closes through the last confirmed swing high or low. A break with the current structure is labelled BOS. A break against it, or before a trend has formed, is labelled CHoCH.
By default, the first time price trades back into it by wick or close. The Delete FVG When setting can switch that to Close Only, Wick Only or Never, and Max FVG Boxes Shown (20 by default) caps how many open gaps stay on the chart.
