ChartingLens is a trading analysis platform for stocks, crypto, forex and metals. It runs entirely in the browser: real-time charts with 50+ technical indicators and 25+ drawing tools, an AI assistant that can read your chart, a strategy backtester that works from plain-English descriptions, a screener that covers 11 stock markets, and smart-money data including insider transactions and the 13F holdings of legendary investors.
The platform is built around a simple idea: the tools serious traders rely on should not be split across three subscriptions. Charting, screening, backtesting and institutional-ownership data live in one place, with a free tier that is genuinely usable every day.

The Story
ChartingLens was founded in 2025 by traders and developers who kept hitting the same wall: professional-grade charting locked behind expensive tiers, backtesting that required learning a scripting language, and institutional-ownership data scattered across separate services.
So we built the platform we wanted to use. Charts came first. Then the AI assistant, the plain-English strategy backtester, the multi-market screener, insider-trading tracking with confidence scoring, and 13F portfolio tracking for legendary investors. Every feature ships to the same app at chartinglens.com, and the full release history is public in our changelog.
ChartingLens is independent and self-funded. We are not a broker, we do not execute trades, and we do not sell order flow. The product is the business: a free tier supported by Premium and Pro subscriptions.
