Real feedback from the ChartingLens community
"The AI signals are surprisingly accurate. I've caught several trades early that ended up being solid winners. Honestly, the backtester alone is worth the premium subscription."
"I've used a lot of platforms over the years and features like the AI Chat auto-drawing support and resistance and the plain-English backtester are things I've never seen anywhere else. They genuinely feel like magic."
"The insider trading data with cluster detection is something I check every single morning now. Knowing when multiple executives are buying their own stock gives me so much more confidence in my trades."
Latest improvements and new features
ChartingLens now charts international markets — search and load stocks, indices and ETFs from 70+ exchanges worldwide (Toronto/TSX, London/LSE, India's NSE & BSE, and many more). Global symbols appear right in the search box, load with full history, and work everywhere the rest of the platform does — drawing tools, every indicator, the strategy builder and backtesting engine, and AI-generated support/resistance, levels and chart analysis all operate on an international ticker exactly as they do on a US one. US, crypto and forex quotes are real-time; international markets are 15–20 minutes delayed. Search is faster, too, with matches appearing instantly as you type. Free for all users.
Paste a Pine Script indicator into the AI Assistant and it converts it into a live indicator on your chart — boxes, trend lines, labels, level lines, plots and shape markers all render through the same drawing engine the built-in indicators use. Drawings now project into the future area to the right of the last candle, so fans, channels and target lines extend forward, and filled triangles, wedges and zones between lines are shaded the way the original script intends. Indicators that redraw a fan or grid on every bar now anchor correctly to the most recent bar instead of being starved out and dropped. Converted indicators are first-class: they persist in your saved layout and reapply automatically on refresh, support Apply to Selected Chart / All Charts in multi-chart layouts, and can be saved to your Indicators library for one-click reuse. The converter dry-runs each conversion against your chart and self-corrects before it ever hands you the Add button. This release also hardens the feature end-to-end: long, complex scripts now always convert in full instead of being mistaken for a request to explain a single indicator; conversions port the script's core detection and drawing logic (and tell you anything they simplified); price-based math like ATR, Supertrend and pivots computes reliably; and a converted indicator now recomputes when you switch symbols instead of staying frozen on the previous one. Separately, crypto daily and weekly charts now load full history instead of only the most recent few weeks. Available on Premium.
The Hedge Fund Holdings sidebar gained a third view mode — Performance — that swaps the per-fund holdings list for one card per selected investor. Each card shows the manager, fund style, position count, total portfolio value, an estimated value-weighted return since the latest 13F report date (computed from the share-price-equivalent value/shares reported in the filing vs current price for every long position), a top-5 concentration donut, and a 0–100 risk score derived from the Herfindahl concentration index. Clicking a card opens a detailed modal with: a 6-cell summary strip (portfolio $, positions, largest, top-5, top-10, HHI); the headline return alongside SPY's return over the same window with the alpha delta; a half-circle Risk Profile gauge (Conservative → Balanced → Aggressive → Concentrated); a composition row of sector mix donut, market-cap distribution (Mega / Large / Mid / Small / Micro), and position-type breakdown (Long / Calls / Puts / Principal); a Style & Quality tile row of Portfolio Beta, Weighted P/E, Div Yield, Defensive % (utilities + staples + healthcare), Unprofitable %, and US Exposure; a This Quarter's Activity panel with turnover %, net buy ratio, new-buy hit rate, and three mini-tables for new buys, added to, and trimmed; a Performance Attribution panel with top 5 contributors and top 5 detractors (sorted by weight × return) plus a per-sector return-attribution bar list; and a per-stock performance table sorted by absolute weighted contribution with new positions highlighted. The return % only includes long stock positions — option premiums (puts/calls) and debt principal can't be honestly value-weighted against today's stock price using value/shares from the filing, so they're excluded from the headline number everywhere to keep the math consistent. The "% Since Filed" column was renamed to "% Since Report Date" to honestly reflect that the basis price is the quarter-end snapshot in the 13F, not the filing-acknowledgement date ~45 days later.
