Professional-grade real-time charting for stocks, crypto, and futures. Built on a high-performance rendering engine with WebSocket data for crypto, live polling for stocks, and pre/post market prices throughout the interface.
Switch between chart types instantly without reloading data. Each type offers a different perspective on price action.
The standard. Shows open, high, low, close with color-coded bodies for bullish and bearish candles.
Classic bar chart with horizontal ticks for open and close. Preferred by some futures and forex traders.
Smoothed candles that filter noise and make trends easier to identify. Uses averaged values instead of raw OHLC.
Filled bodies for closes below open, hollow for closes above. Adds a visual dimension to trend analysis.
Simple closing price line. Clean and minimal — useful for seeing the overall trend without candle noise.
Horizontal steps between price levels. Makes price plateaus and breakouts visually obvious.
Line chart with filled area beneath. Good for visualizing price relative to a baseline or zero level.
Shows price relative to a reference level. Above baseline is green, below is red — instant visual feedback on direction.
Vertical bars from zero. Useful for volume visualization or comparing price changes across periods.
Bar width scales with traded volume, so heavy-participation bars stand out instantly. Price and volume in a single view.
Candlesticks whose width reflects each bar's volume — see the conviction behind every move without a separate volume pane.
Analyze price action at any granularity. Switch between timeframes with a single click in the toolbar.
Need a 2-hour, 45-minute, 3-day, or 8-hour chart? Premium users can create any custom interval. Custom timeframes are built by aggregating base bars, so every candle carries accurate OHLC and volume — and they work everywhere: indicators, drawings, alerts, and bar replay all run on custom intervals exactly as they do on standard ones.
Serious intraday analysis needs more than a few weeks of data. ChartingLens serves up to 2 years of intraday candles on 5-minute and higher timeframes, and up to 1 year on the 1-minute chart. Every timeframe automatically pulls its maximum available history, so you can scroll back through months of intraday structure without hitting a wall.
A range selector along the bottom of the chart jumps straight to the view you want: 1D, 5D, 1M, 3M, 6M, YTD, 1Y, 5Y, All, or a fully custom range. One click reframes the chart to exactly the window you care about.
Choose how the timeframe buttons live in your workspace: docked to the header toolbar, floating directly on the chart, or hidden entirely for a clean, distraction-free canvas.
ChartingLens uses two methods to deliver real-time price updates depending on the asset class.
Cryptocurrency data streams through Binance WebSocket connections. Candles update tick-by-tick in real time with zero delay. This is true streaming data — the chart reacts to every price change as it happens.
Stock data uses intelligent polling that adapts to market hours. During regular trading hours (9:30 AM - 4:00 PM ET), the chart polls for new data at regular intervals. Outside market hours, polling frequency is reduced automatically to conserve API calls without missing important moves.
Chart more than 40 currency pairs — majors, minors, and crosses — plus spot gold, silver, platinum, and palladium, all with real-time pricing and up to 20 years of price history. Forex and metals trade nearly around the clock during the week, and the charts keep up.
The platform automatically detects whether the US stock market is currently open, in pre-market, in after-hours, or closed for the weekend. Polling frequency adjusts accordingly — fast during active sessions, slower during quiet periods. This keeps your data fresh while minimizing unnecessary API calls.
ChartingLens isn't limited to US listings. Chart stocks, indices, and ETFs from more than 70 exchanges worldwide — including the TSX (Canada), LSE (London), XETRA (Germany), NSE and BSE (India), TSE (Tokyo), and many more.
Extended hours data is displayed throughout the platform — on the chart itself, in the header bar, sidebar, and watchlists.
Trade futures with live data outside regular stock market hours. ChartingLens supports popular futures contracts including ES=F (S&P 500 E-mini), NQ=F (Nasdaq 100 E-mini), and more.
Futures trade nearly 24 hours a day during the week, so ChartingLens delivers continuous data streams for these instruments even when the stock market is closed.
Make the chart yours. The Chart Settings panel controls colors, volume, and price scales — and every choice syncs to your account, so your setup follows you to any device you sign in on.
