Delete your account in the app

1. Open the ChartingLens app and sign in.
2. Tap Profile, then Account.
3. Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm, then type DELETE when asked.

Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.

Delete your account on the website

1. Sign in at chartinglens.com.
2. Open Profile, then Account.
3. Scroll to Danger Zone and click Delete Account.
4. Confirm, then type DELETE when asked.

Request deletion without the app

If you can't sign in or no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We process deletion requests within 30 days and will email you when it is done.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your account and sign-in (including the email address on it)
• Watchlists and alerts
• Notes and trading journal entries
• Chart drawings, layouts, templates, saved indicators and scripts
• App and account settings
• Sign-in records (dates, IP addresses, device types) and usage history tied to your account
• Push notification tokens for your devices
• Feedback you submitted and any affiliate program data

Deletion cannot be undone. If you sign up again later, you start with a new, empty account.

What may be retained

• Billing and transaction records. Payment processors keep records of your purchases as required for tax and accounting: Stripe for purchases on our website, Apple for App Store purchases and Google for Google Play purchases. These are kept under each company's own retention policies.
• Google Analytics statistics. These are never linked to your name, email or account, so they cannot be traced back to you.
• Reported AI responses. If you reported an AI response, the email our support team received stays in our support inbox.

Subscriptions

A subscription bought on chartinglens.com is canceled when you delete your account.

A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play is not canceled by deleting your account, because only Apple and Google can cancel it. To stop billing, cancel it before or after deleting your account:

• iPhone or iPad: Settings, then your name (Apple ID), then Subscriptions, then ChartingLens, then Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play Store, then your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then ChartingLens, then Cancel subscription.
