Affiliate Program Terms

1. Overview

The ChartingLens Affiliate Program allows registered users to earn commissions by referring new paying subscribers to ChartingLens. By activating your affiliate account, you agree to the following terms.

2. Commission Structure

First month: 50% commission ($5.00) for each new subscriber you refer.
Recurring: 20% commission ($2.00/month) for each subsequent month the referred user remains an active paid subscriber.
Commissions are calculated based on the current subscription price of $9.99/month. If pricing changes, commission percentages remain the same but dollar amounts will adjust accordingly.

3. Referral Attribution

A referral is attributed to your affiliate code when a new user signs up using your unique referral link and subsequently subscribes to a paid plan.
The referral cookie/tracking window is 30 days from the initial click.
Only the first affiliate link clicked within the attribution window receives credit (last-touch attribution).
Self-referrals (referring your own account) are not permitted and will not be credited.

4. Payouts

Minimum payout threshold: $50.00.
Payouts are processed manually upon request via email to support.
Payment methods: PayPal or bank transfer (at ChartingLens's discretion).
ChartingLens reserves the right to withhold payouts for up to 60 days to account for refunds and chargebacks.

5. Prohibited Activities

Affiliates may not:

Use spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive practices to promote their referral link.
Bid on ChartingLens brand keywords (e.g., "ChartingLens", "Charting Lens") in paid advertising.
Create fake accounts or use bots to inflate clicks, signups, or subscriptions.
Misrepresent ChartingLens, its features, or pricing in promotional materials.
Offer unauthorized discounts, rebates, or cashback incentives to referred users.

6. Termination

ChartingLens reserves the right to suspend or terminate any affiliate account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at its sole discretion.
Upon termination, any unpaid commissions above the minimum threshold will be paid out within 60 days.
Commissions earned through fraudulent or prohibited activity will be forfeited.

7. Modifications

ChartingLens may modify these terms, including commission rates, at any time. Active affiliates will be notified of material changes via email. Continued participation in the program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The affiliate program is provided "as is." ChartingLens makes no guarantees of earnings. ChartingLens's total liability to any affiliate shall not exceed the total commissions earned by that affiliate in the preceding 12 months.
